Basketball success

On Thursday 29 November, the basketball team went to the Kent Schools Games event at Aylesford school.

After only forming a team five weeks ago, we were all nervous about the tournament but the team had worked very hard in training and their PE lessons. We played six matches and are delighted to report back that we won five out of six matches!! This resulted in the team finishing in second place overall.

This is an excellent achievement for the team and all of the players should be extremely proud of how well they did. In addition to playing some excellent basketball, they also represented the school with respect, good sportsmanship and manners - noticed by another teacher who was at the event.

Well done to Rio (Captain), James (Vice - captain), Woody, Aizah, Emin, Faisal, Kaci and Mia.
