Year 6 Activity Week
For their residential trip this year, Year 6 pupils went to Windmill Hill, in East Sussex. They took part in a range of adventurous activities such as: giant swing, abseiling, Jacob’s ladder and raft building. The weather was glorious and the children were so well behaved – they were complimented by many different leaders and all of the staff involved had the best week. One of the highlights was Mr Littleton being pushed in the lake by some cheeky Year 6s and Miss Burrell screaming at the top of her lungs on the giant swing.
A smaller group of Year 6 stayed at school for their own adventurous week closer to home. They took part in a scavenger hunt in Rochester, as well as some bowling and den building. Mrs Hilton was particularly impressed with their den building skills which used natural materials found in the school grounds.
