Oxfam meeting

Last week a group of students were lucky enough to meet virtually with Barbara Walmsley. Barbara is a volunteer for OXFAM and has been raising money through hunger strikes and coffee mornings for nearly 70 years.

The children focused their questions to her on where her money goes and who it supports, as well as what they can do as children to help others.

The children were so impressed that she had met the late Queen Elizabeth II and David Emmanuel who designed Princess Diana’s address, as part of her work with OXFAM.
