Oliver's Vegetable inspired workshop

Our fabulous cook, Jackie, from Cucina, led an informative healthy eating workshop for Year 1 yesterday. It was linked to the class text 'Oliver's Vegetables' by Vivien French and Alison Bartlett.

The range of wonderful produce was discussed, tasted and handled in order to encourage a deeper understanding of how vegetables grow and where they come from.

Shark Class particularly enjoyed the potato and leek soup - yum!
