Roman Day

Turtle class enjoyed a Roman themed day today, to celebrate completing our Roman topic.  

Everyone arrived in some wonderful costumes!  

We spent the day making laurel wreaths, learning Roman numerals, making clay coil pots and  creating a poster entitled "What have the Romans done for us?" to showcase our learning.  

We were also treated to some Roman honey cakes, baked by Mrs Guthrie, which everyone agreed were absolutely delicious.
