Remarkable Writing Day

Last week, Remarkable Writing Day kicked off with a virtual whole school assembly, and all children watched a short clip from the film The Croods.

The children then all wrote their own version of the story where Eep, a young girl leaves her home in the cave to explore the curiosities outside of the natural world.  We are so pleased with the outcomes produced.

SVLT chose the best piece of writing for each class from a short list and these children will receive a book next week as their prize.

The winning children were: Dougal (YrR), Holly (Yr1), Zaylee (Yr2), Holly S (Yr3), Theo (Yr4), Annabel (Yr5) and Daisy (Yr6). 

We can't wait to show the finish articles towards and our whole school display that will be completed next week.
