Giving thanks tea

Today, the Starfish children hosted a giving thanks tea for their adults to say thank you for all that they do for them.

This week they made jam tarts, decorated cakes and marshmallows to serve to the adults.

The children shared the work they have been doing in class; making a 'Love is...' poem, a thank you card, designing a placemat and coaster and finally making flowers to decorate the table. They also sung their adults a song using sign language called 'Thank you'.

A big thank you to all the adults for attending and to the parent volunteers who kindly served the drinks.
