Language of the Term Assembly

On Friday, our Afrikaans children treated the whole school to a wonderful (and our first) "Language of the term" assembly.

The children led the others in reading and saying numbers up to ten, singing a well-known Afrikaans song and sharing a class fairy tale.

As an extra treat, some of the school were allowed to try traditional food from South Africa including "fizzers".... some very popular sweets!

Well done to Zianell, Zaylee, Alice, Cameron, Anke and Wickus.
