Active Health Conference

On Friday 3 May, Miss Linnane and ten children travelled to Aylesford Secondary school for an Active Health Conference.

The ten children were trained over the course of the morning to become Active Healthy lifestyle ambassadors for our school promoting health, fitness and nutritional awareness.

The new ambassadors learnt a selection of five minute physical activities, games linked to learning, P.E. and mathematical challenges, communication and team talking techniques and these will all be shared at school. The children enjoyed a dance session, quiz about the amount of saturated fats, sugar and salt in different foods and they also learnt a Zumba routine.

Zianell said “I had so much fun doing the different activities and I want to make our school more active for everyone.”

We look forward to sharing news with you about their first event at school. Well done to the ambassadors: Loretta, Sienna, Zianell, Rhoovie, Woody, Logan, Grace, Rio, Ayahna and Finlay.
