First Aid Training

Year 5 and 6 children were lucky enough to have some first aid training yesterday from one of our school parents, who works for Kent Fire and Rescue Service.

As part of the training, pupils learnt how to look for danger and ensure their own safety before helping others.

They learnt how to carry out CPR and how to put an individual into the recovery position.

The children thoroughly enjoyed learning these lifelong skills and will now remember the 'Baby Shark' song in a very different way - who knew it had 110 beats per minute!
