Sports4Schools Event

Today we were lucky enough to be visited on site by Fred Afrifa, who is an International Sprinter and is a two time national gold medallist and Darren Challis (virtually), who is an Invictus Competitor and competed at the 2016 Games in Cycling and Swimming. 

The children had a fantastic morning moving through various fitness challenges whilst learning how to keep fit and healthy.  Both Fred and Darren really inspired the children to do their best. 

The event was ended with a virtual assemble where the children got to learn about both athletes, they thoroughly enjoyed learning about Darren’s racing wheelchair and all the equipment that he wears! He is a true inspiration!
