World Book Day

The whole school came dressed as their favourite Author or Character for this year's World Book Day. 

In assembly the children used a ‘cheeromoter’ to vote for their favourite costumes and Mrs Gidley and Mrs Guthrie shared some of their favourite stories. 

In addition to this children across the school took part in our “drop it and read” sessions throughout the day. 

When the reading bell went, some children were seen reading on the stairwell, in the hub and on the playground.
