Remarkable Writing Day

On Friday 7 February, the whole school took part in our Remarkable Writing Day. The theme was "Keep the Sea plastic free".

We focussed on non-fiction writing with Years 1 and 2 writing instructions to keep the oceans clean and safe, Years 3 and 4  writing a recount from the point of view of a sea creature and Years 5 and 6 writing persuasively to encourage people to be clean on the beach and when out at sea. The display boards in the hall reflect the hard work, brilliant art and, of course, super writing that was created.
