Writing Workshop

The Year 6 children took part in a writing workshop focussing on important speeches in history.

Three National Trust volunteers came and spent the morning discussing Churchill and how and why his speeches during WW2 were so vital.

The children then had a chance to write their own speeches focussing on repetition, exaggeration and rhetorical questions.
