'Good' rating for Valley Invicta Primary School at Kings Hill
Valley Invicta Primary School at Kings Hill is delighted to have been rated as ‘Good’ by Ofsted following an inspection on 27/28 September.
Head Teacher, Steph Guthrie, said: “We are so pleased to have received a ‘Good’ rating from Ofsted after the very first inspection of our school. This result reflects the ongoing hard work of all our pupils, parents, governors, and, of course, our brilliant team of staff. We are very proud of the way in which the report comments that ‘Pupils are keen to do their best and behave well. They feel valued and safe in school.”
The report praised how well the new leadership and teaching teams have established themselves with pupils and parents. Further to this, the report highlights that ‘there is some exceptionally strong teaching in the school’ and that as a result of this, pupils make impressive progress.
Julie Derrick, Joint CEO of Valley Invicta Academies Trust (VIAT), said: “I am so proud of everyone at the school and the Trust, who have worked tirelessly to provide the very best for our pupils since Valley Invicta Primary School at Kings Hill opened in 2015. This Ofsted report gives us strong foundations on which to build in the future and clear goals to aim for. We are all very excited about moving forward on our journey to Outstanding.”
