Year 5 attend Creative Arts workshops

Year 5 Dolphin class were lucky enough to be treated to a day out at Valley Park School on Wednesday.

The children attended Drama, Music, Dance and Art workshops led by the secondary school teachers and created a wonderful, exciting performance of "Baggy Trousers" which was performed at the end to parents and staff of the school.

They were supported throughout the day by some Year 9 and 10 students who have achieved a scholarship place in the Performing Arts department and the children enjoyed the challenge of following the experienced students' advice and choreography.

During lunchtime, the class visited the school farm and loved meeting the animals and birds who live at Valley Park. Thank you to those who helped with driving.
